Collabo Emerald Barrel

My buddy Tony Farmer has been borrowing the beloved Collabo board that I did with Josh Hall like 2 years ago. Yes the board is still around and despite its slightly battered candy shell its still magic. This is one of him getting a little emerald tube action in the badlands of east NY. The photos were shot by Matt McGinley. Matt is a radd photographer check his stuff out here.

As rad of a surfer Tony is...he's and even better Skater. This is him doing his thing in the Autumn Bowl. Brooklyn What!

  1. Do you guys get waves like that often in NY? I want to make a road trip.

  2. The waves aren't like that all the time. Its more of a combination of the right tide, swell wind and sandbar. There were great bars that day. It was like knee to waist deep on the bars. Wipeouts were brutal.

  3. I get that. I was just curious if there were more good days than bad? Surfing in Lake Michigan is usually mediocre at best. I get out to SoCal 2x a year. But am thinking of making a trip to the East Coast, curious about NY/NJ and Hatteras. What is your vote?
