Fresh Fins

Daniel Partch came through hard body on the fins for Kyle Talbot's sugar cane 6'9" Long Fish custom and side bites for Ken Cook's 6'0 Round Tail Stubbie. Both are in the works. Stay Chuned for the final product.

Recently my buddy Nuno of Glide Lines blog came to visit me at the shop. He had never bare witness to the insane flex properties of Resin-X. So I gave him a demo on my 5'10 Flex Tail Quad Fish. Heres how it went.

International Man of Mystery

Surfboard shaping legend Joe Bauguess, the man responsible for the craftsmanship of the Casper, Sim Fish and RK's 9 foot balsa replica Bob Simmons planning hull. Bauguess has been shaping for Eaton surfboards for over 30 years and has recently been working along side of Richard Kenvin and The Swift Movement to make some pretty mind blowing experimental boards. RK introduced me to Joe, and I got a chance to catch up with him and hang while he was shaping over at Eaton's factory on his last visit to CA.
Check out Joe's Surf DNA in the background.
